Over the River and Through the Woods

When I first saw this pattern I thought this is one quilt that I will never do since I was not crazy about black and brown, although I did like the saying "Over the River and Through the Woods". Mom made made this quilt first and I actually liked it, but I still was not in a big hurry to make one, until I had nothing to do in the evenings so I decided that I would get busy and make it. Lucky for me, Mom had alot of left over browns and blacks that I could use for the flying geese and Mom also helped me mix and match the flying geese. I have always said that my Mom always puts the finishing touch on my quilts by making them come alive and dance. Thanks Mom for quilting my quilts.
