Trip Around The World ~ July 2006

During a trip to Idaho to visit Jan, Mom, Jan and I went to Porters to see if there was anything that we could not live without. I found this beautiful Trip Around the World quilt kit that I could not live without. As I was getting ready to checkout Mom told me that I did not need another project and to put it back. So for once I listened to my mom and put the kit back..(I really wanted the kit) So for my birthday Jan and Mom gave me the kit.:) it was a wonderful gift. The quilt is bright and beautiful and one of my favorites. Mom did the quilting on this quilt, I know that it took her alot of time as she would change the thread from yellow to blue, back to yellow and then back to blue. Thanks mom for doing such a great job. I love you
