Red Work for Aunt Cleora ~ June 2008

Jan, Tamara and I went to Moscow to pick up mom, she has spent a couple of weeks with her sister Cleora. Like always we started to look through all of Aunt Cleora's red work that she had done over the years. I asked her if I could take some of her red work home with me and put it together for her, she was more then happy to let me do so. I took Aunt Cleora's Christmas Santa's and made a Turning Twenty Around the Block quilt for her. I was happy and honored to put together a quilt of Aunt Cleora's red work.

I can tell you that mom (Cleora) was thrilled to "pieces" with this quilt. It hangs all year 'round in the living room. You did a beautiful job Al.
